United States Multiplayer Maps for C&C:RA v1.01.
Ever wanted to fight on U.S. soil? How about
recreate the famous Civil War? Or fight between
the west and east coast? If so, then this map is
for you! Every possible detail with rivers,
mountains, and trees to make the battlefield feel
like the U.S. This map was also heavily beta
tested to ensure entertainment without bugs!
NOTE: Hawaii and Alaska are not included.
Map Size    : 126 x 64
Max. Players: Up to 8 Players (AI supported).
Temperates  : Both Temperate and Winter.

* To Use This Map *

To play this map, you can just copy the *.MPR files into your Red
Alert directory (ex. c:\ra). Run your game and choose one from
the multiplayer menu (network/modem/skirmish). Then, select your
parameters (ie. 7 AIs, Crates On) and select one of the United
states maps ("United States (Snow/Large)" or "United States
(Temperate/Large)"). Finally, you can start your battles. Good

Description      : Play C&C: Red Alert in the United States!
                   Set up a base in your favorite state and "shake
                   it, baby!"
Map Features     : Detailed landscape close as possible to the real
                   thing with rivers, mountains, deserts, oceans,
                   trees, etc with some twists. It is almost accurate,
                   but not quite.
                 : Tank rushing is difficult :).
Credits to       : Westwood Studios for the Command & Conquer series!
                 : Internet. Duh.
                 : Stallion, Spaceman Spiff, Grungy, Buster, Capt. Garr
                   and Ego for beta-testing and comments.
Build Time       : 1 month (tedious!!).
Notes            : The map was too small to stick in Hawaii and Alaska.
                   Canada and Mexico were not included since they are
                   not part of the U.S., so I used water to cover them.
                   I hope there is no offense for the players who live
                   there.
                 : A few tiles are off, but that is the best I can
                   do. It is difficult to align the limited tiles
                   with the limited terrain editor.
                 : I know that there is little room to expand your
                   base(s). You need to think about your strategies
                   and where to lay them out. USE YOUR BRAIN CELLS!
                 : Due to complaints, I was forced to add extra rivers
                   and bridges that do not exist in reality like in
                   Florida, Texas, and Maine. Allies wanted their Navy
                   support. :P.
Known Bugs       : I am a bug :). If there are other bugs, please
                   kindly contact me with one of my e-mail addresses
                   noted in this textfile.
Future Plan      : If there is a better map editor that will improve
                   this map, I might do that. Most likely, I will not
                   be updating this map unless there is a big bug.
